State of the World's Children 2012 - Children in an Urban WorldUNICEF Publications
This report anticipates the rapidly approaching day when the majority of the world’s children will grow up in urban areas. It observes that many of these places are marked by pronounced inequality in power and resources that in turn lead to disparity in children’s survival and development.
The report adds to the growing base of evidence and analysis of inequity and the need for strategies to reach excluded children and families wherever they live. It builds on work, by UNICEF and many partners, to show that the children who are most deprived, vulnerable and difficult to reach are to be found not only in remote rural parts but also in the very urban centres that are home to commercial, political and cultural elites.

糖尿病治療において、治療目標は主治医と患者が合意形成するShared Decision Making Approachが推奨されている。

しかし、「個別化」「詳細さ」を測定することは難しく、特に後ろ向き研究はしにくいと考えられます

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

9. Past activities
identify the perspectives young specialists should have to fulfill their potentials
Boston MIT study tour for univ. students
9/7-9/10 2010 @boston
13 Japanese University students interviewed 4 professors, 4 researchers,
12 students and asked about their perspectives on career building
What are important perspectives in becoming a specialist?
Many people answered that the key is “finding something you love.” You
need to be fully consumed in the subject and always be “starving”for
more.
What is necessary to become successful?
“You need to be too outstanding that you can’t be struck down”. Many
also said that “thinking strategically” is a key. Lastly, the need to believe
in yourself was emphasized time and time again. You can doubt yourself
to succeed.
Why is MIT/Harvard chosen by the top researchers of the world?
There is a culture where everyone needs to do better then their best.
Invisible peer-pressure pushes everyone. Also, everyone thrives to be a
leader and create innovation, and those qualities are highly evaluated
within the Boston academic community.
