Text provides the basic information of what a person wants to convey to others., the message he or she wants to send, however if the text is not properly executed possible that you will not be able to send the right message and the right tone. Typographical or grammatical errors may send a different message and pag mali yung pagamit ng language it can send a different message that is why if your going to produce a text and information in media it should be properly executed and comsistent.
Basically a text is a combination of letters so technically text information and media is the use of words, letters or any written output as a media content
Text can be use as visual, it is the easiest way of communicating to your audience, kung hindi ka marunong magdraw or hindi ka marunong magproduce ng images you can simply write your text or send your message through typefaces.
Its plain and dull with no additional creative style.
The complete opposite of a plain text.

There are different typeface and each typeface is use for different purpose since they send a specific message or specific mood.
A serif gives a classic and elegant look for titles and headings
Ex. Times New Roman, Garamond, Baskerville or yong mga may lines yung edges nila.
We usually see this typeface in books or magazines or newspaper yong body nila because it significe formality and madali siyang Mabasa.
It is more on a minimalist and gives a modern look and primarily used in web design.
Parang serif sya pero mas bolder and heavier. Usually used in advertisement on billboards because it gives more impact to the audience.
This is used in heading part not in body text of a newspaper or magazines because it will be hard for the reader to read and understand the text.
This typeface is used depending on the types of emotion you want to imply to your audience.
All of these typefaces vary in their purpose or whatever emotion you want to imply to your audience or to your reader, if we are going to choose the typeface that we a re going to use make sure that it represents the message that you want to send.
