The Texas Star Chart is a tool for planning, assessing, and evaluating a school or district's educational technology profile based on the goals of the Long Range Plan for Technology. It examines components across four key areas - Teaching and Learning, Educator Preparation and Development, Leadership/Administration/Support, and Infrastructure. Each area is rated on a scale of 1-4 to indicate the level of technology integration. The Star Chart can be used for technology planning, budgeting, and evaluation, and to facilitate discussions around improving technology use and online learning to ensure the best education for students.
