Ravi Kishan, an undergraduate student, was having difficulty studying in his hostel room. Two prototypes were created to address this problem. The first was a room study board using a bulletin board and sticky notes to help Ravi plan and stay on track with his daily tasks and studying. Testing showed this helped him be more punctual. The second prototype involved group studies, where hostel mates would sit together and discuss topics, helping concepts become clearer. Testing of group studies in Ravi's room proved effective with good discussion and systematic studying of an agreed upon topic. Reflection indicated the prototypes helped create a better study environment for Ravi and demonstrated how to solve problems for others systematically.
