Mobile devices are becoming more and more powerful. They come with all sorts of wonderful hardware like cpu/gpus, tons of ram and blazing fast download times. Smart phones have become commoditized in a sense. What's the next evolution of mobile? Now these devices are coming with a really solid set of sensors and apis that allow developers to determine a user's context. How does that work? Developers fuse the sensor output to infer context and infer events from the data. This talk will discuss ways to do it, challenges and drawbacks.
ACE and Beyond: An Advanced Single Window Model for California and the U.S.
ACE as the U.S. Single Window is an impressive milestone in trade facilitation and global e-commerce, but, as a B2G EDI-based platform, is only part of the picture. The most advanced Single Window systems, such as those operating in Singapore and Korea, involve not only B2G, but also B2B, platforms. California and Silicon Valley are well-positioned to develop the ICT architecture, including B2B systems and apps, for a world-beating, advanced ACE Single Window.

As we know that use of solar energy is increasing day by day so there should be efficient use of solar energy. But due to pollution there is wastage of energy i.e. due to deposition of soil on solar panel .so there is always need to clean the solar panel in fixed days. but some time there is no desirable amount of soil deposited on panel which can decrease the power upto certain level but the company or organization has to pay the cleaner for his visit. And theft cases of solar panel are also increasing day by day. so our project is a solution for this. Mr. Sumant Khetan | Mr. Akshay Irkar | Mr. Akash Kanase | Mr. Akash Karne | Prof. Anand V. Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

DevOps and Testing slides at DASA ConnectKari Kakkonen
My and Rik Marselis slides at 30.5.2024 DASA Connect conference. We discuss about what is testing, then what is agile testing and finally what is Testing in DevOps. Finally we had lovely workshop with the participants trying to find out different ways to think about quality and testing in different parts of the DevOps infinity loop.
Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.
Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

1. 1. Enumerate each project exhibited in the event, discuss briefly each project (25pts)
DSSC Demo
(Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell)
Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC)
converts light into electricity.The electrons
(marbles) of the sensitizer dye get
promoted into the lowest unoccupied
molecular orbital (highest ramps) when
the appropriate wavelength of light hits
the dye. This excited electron then moves
downwards the cascading work functions
(different ramps) of the other parts of the
solar cell. It then moves out through an
external circuit (longest ramp), powers a
load (LED light), and black (lowest ramp)
into a redox electrolyte which replenishes
the dye.
DSSC-powered clock
(Dye-sensitized solar cells)
Eight Dye- sensitized solar cells
with an active area of 1.6cm² are
demonstrated to power a digital clock.
Ambient room lighting is the only source
of energy. In this project it will show us
how the digital clock will shut down when
the cells are covered with our hands.
2. DREAM
Using remote-sensing technology mounted on a light aircraft, DREAM-or
Disaster Risks and Exposure Assessment for Mitigation-provides real-time, high-
resolution 3D images that are used in creating computer-generated terrain models.
The models simulate weather scenarios and flood risks.
By extension, DREAM also serves as an effectively early warning system for
averting disasters brought by inclement weather, as seen when typhoon Pablo
Devasted Cagayan de Oro but left no casualties in its trail.
3. Android Application Controlled
Aquaculture System
Android Application Controlled
Aquaculture System is a project that aims
to innovate the monitoring processes of
aquaculture system controlled by an
Android Application that monitors the
water level and temperature via Bluetooth.
Automated Rain Gauge and Water Level
Monitoring System
The Automated Rain Gauge is
developed to gather and record the
amount of rainfall over a set period of
time, while the Water Level Monitoring
Station is a water gauging instrument for
flood monitoring and forecasting.
The units are equipped with the
ASTI-developed Advanced Remote Data-
Acquisition Unit, which controls all
functions and data communications of the
stations.
4. 2. Among the exhibit what interest you most, why? (15pts)
Of all the projects exhibited in the event, I am interested most with the Automated
Rain Gauge and Water Level Monitoring System. Because we all know that many of us
can experience and suffer from the flood that cause by the different typhoon and I think
this project is the answer to lessen our worry when we’re suffering typhoon.
3. Base on the information gathered from the conference, what do you think is your
essential traits to be equipped with the current trends in information technology? (20pts)
4. Observation of the event (15pts)
It’s not my first time to attend exhibit but I am so impressed to the exhibit of
DOST. I didn’t feel that my money is waste because I am so enjoy together with my
classmates and friends when we’re visiting and observing different booth on the exhibit.
It is so organized and I am so happy that I knew all the new technology.
5. Recommendation/suggestion regarding the activity (15pts)
Of all the projects on the exhibit, I am so impressed for every project. But I
suggest that all the exhibitors can always alert to tackle all about their exhibit because
some of the exhibitors didn’t tackle or explain their project specially when their few
minutes tackle their project to the visitor that first come than to
6. Photo Documentation (10pts)
