The Korean movie Temptation of Wolves from 2004 is based on a novel and tells the story of a country girl who moves to Seoul after her father's death. She attends a new high school, where the popular boy Ban Hae-won accidentally hits her in the head with a shoe when she starts crying on the bus. Both Hae-won and his enemy Jung Tae-sung fall for the girl but Tae-sung has a secret that complicates his feelings for her. She must choose between the two boys - the cool and popular Hae-won or the cute Tae-sung who has a secret.
