Sighisoara is a well-preserved medieval town in Romania that was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list. Some of its historic buildings include the Clock Tower from the 13th century, Vlad Dracul's house where his son Vlad Tepes was allegedly born, and the Covered Stairs School built in 1662 to protect students from winter weather. Sighisoara has withstood the test of time, with its cultural buildings remaining largely intact over hundreds of years despite damage from fires and changes over time.
