Who is ARTEMIS?  ♥  daughter of Zeus and Leto ♥  Twin sister of  Apollo ♥  The goddess of forests and hills ♥  She was the huntress ♥  She was one of the Olympians and a virgin  goddess ♥  Carried a bow and arrows
Location     ♥  Was located near the ancient city of  Ephesus ,  about 50 km south from the  modern port city of Izmir, in  Turkey.
History of Temple  ♥  It was so big that it took about  120   years  to build  ♥  was built in  550 B.C.  ♥  Main purpose was to be a worship center for the moon goddess, Artemis ♥  Stood in the Greek city of  Aphasias , on the  west coast which we all know as Turkey.  ♥  Sponsored by the Lydian King  Croesus
Constructions    ♥  used pulleys & metal pegs  60 foot  Marble  pillars onto the  430x259 foot rectangular base ♥  Dimensions  : 260 ft by 430 ft ♥   Ionic columns : total of 127 each 60 feet tall
