His Life Ministries October 2019 Series

the COLLABORATIVE TEAM
Main Verse
Philippians 2:9-11 ESV
"Therefore God has highly exalted him and
bestowed on him the name that is above every
name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow, in heaven and on earth and under
the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus
Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Challenge and Equip our
people to EXALT the Name of
our Lord Jesus Christ higher!
One Solitary Life
Here is a man who was born in an obscure
village, the child of a peasant woman. He
grew up in another village. He worked in a
carpenter shop until He was thirty. Then for
three years He was an itinerant preacher.
He never owned a home. He never wrote a
book. He never held an office. He never
had a family. He never went to college. He
never put His foot inside a big city. He
never traveled two hundred miles from the
place He was born. He never did one of the
things that usually accompany greatness.
He had no credentials but Himself...
While still a young man, the tide of popular
opinion turned against him. His friends ran
away. One of them denied Him. He was
turned over to His enemies. He went
through the mockery of a trial. He was
nailed upon a cross between two thieves.
While He was dying His executioners
gambled for the only piece of property He
had on earth – His coat. When He was
dead, He was laid in a borrowed grave
through the pity of a friend.
Nineteen long centuries have come and
gone, and today He is a centerpiece of the
human race and leader of the column of
progress.
I am far within the mark when I say that all
the armies that ever marched, all the
navies that were ever built; all the
parliaments that ever sat and all the kings
that ever reigned, put together, have not
affected the life of man upon this earth as
powerfully as has that one solitary life.

Sermons” © 1926 by the Judson Press of

In this series—EXALTED we will focus in
understanding deeper why we exalt Jesus
Christ and why it is vital to develop a lifestyle of
worship, in preparation to our series
"BLESSED" (Thanksgiving 2019
November).
In our series EXALTED we will call our people to
have a renewed passion of worship to Jesus.
We will challenge our people to dive deeper
into personal understanding of what our
Saviour did, thus resulting to revived daily
lifestyle of worship.
And finally equip our people with the practical
application on how they can EXALT Jesus Christ
and carry the gospel even further as a result of
their renewed and revived lifestyle of worship
to Jesus Christ in their respective homes,
campuses, corporate office and communities.

The GOALS of a WORSHIP SERVICE
Rev. Jon Eymann
THE PURPOSE OF THE WORSHIP
SERVICE
A. FOR HUMANITY TO DRAW NEAR
TO GOD
“To bring the TOTAL Man To A Place
of TOTAL Worship”
1. To bring The People Into The Presence
Of The Lord.
Psalms 100: 1, 2”…come before His
presence with singing.”
2. To Bring The People UP Into Mt. Zion
In the Bible the Lord dwelt in high
places (Mt. Sinai, Mt. Zion, etc).
High places were places of
worship. The people went up to
meet with God (Isaiah 33, 5 Psalms
76:2)
Note:
we approach God’s presence with music and
singing
c. Jeremiah 31:6 ,7, 12”…Arise ye, and lets
us go up to Zion unto the Lord our
God..Sing with gladness for Jacob and
shout among the chief of the nations;
publish ye, praise ye…Therefore they shall
come and sing in the height of Zion…”.
3. To Make a Throne For The Lord To Rule
Psalms 22:3 “But Thou art holy,
O thou that inhabitest the praises of
Israel.”
4. To Cleanse And Prepare Us To Meet
With God
5. To Make Us God Conscious
Psalms 76:1 “In Judah is God known…”
6. To Reveal The Character of God
a. Psalms 9:11 “Sing praises and declare
the doings of God.”
b.”Doings” – (alilah or aliylah) the exploits,
deeds, works and actions of God.
7. TO Bring People Into A Right Relationship
With Christ
Ps.27:4 “One thing I have desired of
the Lord, that I will seek: that I
may dwelt in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life, to behold
the beauty of the Lord, and to
inquire to His temple.”
B. TO EXPERINCE THE
MOVING OF
GOD’S SPIRIT
1. To Release The Gifts Of The Spirit
2. To Release The Prophetic Mantle
a. II Kings 3:15 “While the Minstrel played
the hand and power of the Lord came
upon Elisha.”
b. When the presence of the Lord fills the
atmosphere, there are times when all
many prophesy.
3. To Release The anointing And To Break
Yokes
Isaiah 10:27…”the yoke shall be
destroyed because of the anointing.”
4. To Bring Unity To The Body Of Christ
a. The worship service will bring everyone
into one accord – one train of thought
(Acts 2:46,47).
b. Jeremiah 31:12 “They shall come and
sing aloud on the height of God’s
presence will cause a flowing together.
5. To Release God’s Miracle Working Power
a. Acts 16:25 “at midnight, Paul and
Silas…SANG PRAISES…suddenly
there was a great earthquake.”
b. Music during an altar service is powerful
– creating an atmosphere of the power
of God’s presence where the
miraculous can happen.
C. TO HELP RECEIVE GOD’S WORD
1. Hosea 10:11 “Judah (praise) shall plow…’
2. To Get The word of God In Our Mind
teaching and admonishing one another in
psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the
Lord.
