A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.

- 2. I will talk about the “Technology used in school” and I will show the good reasons to use correctly the materials available at our school. I will show too, that our school has a lot of technology, which is good compared with other schools around the world.
- 3. Technology used in the classroom; Technology used outside the classroom: › Library; › “Polivalente”; › Office; Good reasons to properly use the materials of the school; Conclusion
- 6. We use the cellphone, the MP3, the Iphone, and a lot of new technologies.
- 7. The library in our school doesn´t have just books, it has computers too. We can work and enjoy ourselves.
- 8. In polivalente we have a big and new television, and a computer to be used by the students .
- 9. The staff have ( maybe) six computers to perform their work.
- 10. 1. 2. The material (computer, TV, etc.) available in school should not be damaged . Students who damage it should be punished. This material is expensive. When a computer is damaged by misuse it takes some time to replace it.
- 11. I liked doing this work. I hope you enjoyed and remember that a computer can´t itself repair alone, we need to take good care of them!
