If you find a being in the modern world that doesn’t own a mobile phone, get your camera ready. You probably just found a unicorn, an extraterrestrial or maybe even Bigfoot.
We weren’t always so connected. There was a time when stuff could wait. Stuff can’t wait anymore.
Parents didn’t think their children needed tracking devices. In the event of an emergency, pay phones were a great solution. If we wanted to stay in touch with friends and family or check our answering machine, waiting until we got home made complete sense. So, what happened and how did we arrive at this convergence of human and technological evolution?

It is a energy efficient to rebuild old computers, about 40 percent of PCs ever find their way to a second user. Reuse electronics reduces pollution, save energy, and conserves resources .
Bits and Bytes both measure amounts of data. However, they are typically used in two different contexts.
Computer memory is usually measured in megabytes or gigabytes. This tells how much information your computer can store.
The speed of a modem (a device that connects two computers over a telephone line) is measured in bits per second, or bps. This tells how much information can be sent in a second.
These slides show terms and division of bits and bytes
Cloud computing allows consumers and businesses to use applications without installation and access their personal files at any computer with internet access. This technology allows for much more efficient computing by centralizing storage, memory, processing and bandwidth.

2. The developments in technology as without it we wouldn’t be here.
Even if you think back to a decade ago, technology has radically changed. We
now all carry around smart phones in our pockets that have instant access to the
internet, cameras, calculators, and pretty much any piece of technology we
might need on-the-go. In the past, we didn't have it so simple, even though we
thought we were innovative at the time. My, how everything has changed.
The Computer
Now computers are powerful, sleek and more importantly, portable. They’re the
workhorse of the business world and the central hub of the household.
3. The Smartphone
Seriously, how can the latest smartphone have 32,768 times more RAM
than other phone. The smartphone of today is not so much a phone any
more but a PC in your pocket – essential for our everyday tasks
4. The World Wide Web
Fast forward to 2014 and there are nearly a billion websites in the world, the
Internet is now the place where over 70% of people look to first for their
answers. A small company called Google, who is valued at a measly $270
billion dollars.
5. The Tablet
In the 80s, tablet devices consisted of pen and paper, and more importantly,
the Filofax. Across the world business people would be planning their sales
meetings, storing their contacts and keeping all their important information
in one place.
Jump to 2014 and we have a multitude of choice ranging from the iPad to the
Kindle. Not only have they replaced the trusty Filofax, they’re replacing the
computer too.
6. Social Networks
Before Twitter and Facebook, people used to ‘actually’ socialize in places
with other people! And get this, they did it outside of the house! Weirdos.
Social networks are becoming ingrained in our daily lives. From promoting
businesses to arranging a get together with friends and everything in-
between. Social networks will only continue to grow in the future.
