Technology provides several benefits to international human resource management (IHRM) such as reducing costs, improving access to information, and facilitating faster decision making. It can be used for recruitment through online job postings, training expatriates with online programs, and monitoring expatriate performance and compensation through computerized tasks and wire transfers. However, there are also disadvantages like risks of cybercrime, inability to monitor all expatriate tasks technologically, data loss issues, and high set-up costs overseas.
