This document discusses plans to establish teacher networks within the FOF organization. The goals are to provide opportunities for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and inspiration across associations. An example network for language teachers is provided, where an engaged teacher leads meetings for 7 other language teachers to discuss pedagogy, ideas for courses, and materials. Regional networks have also seen interest from teachers who want to discuss their subjects and ideas with colleagues from other areas. The vision is to start 10 different subject-focused networks by the end of 2013 to test various models and provide professional development for teachers.

Language teacher network:
- A devotee among the language teachers takes on the role of
a leader (paid) and forms a professional focus for the network
- 7 language teachers meet (participation is free of charge)

network
