Application: Suitable for Carton packaging application primarily for printing by UV off-set Inks. The film is laminated on metallised with Board/paper and printed the other side by UV off-set. Salient Features: • Good adhesion of Print primer on polyester side • Good Lamination Bond Strength • Excellent machinability . .High resolution printing by UV off-set process Physical properties: 1 Nominal thickness: 12.8microns 2 Average yield : 55-57 sq meters/kg 3 Optical Density : 2.1 +- 5% (Jindal standard) 4 S. Tension, Dynes/cm: Metal side: 54, Film side 40 (ASTM D 2578) 5 Adhesion/Bond strength: Very good with tape test, cross hatch. 6 Coating Uniformity : Uniform ,no visible defects 7 Winding quality: Wrinkles ,Creases are absent, one or two pin holes in 1000 metres observed. Joints, if any are flagged and mentioned in the packing slip. 8 Core ID: 6 inches , Metal side outside of the rolls 9 Packing: The rolls are wrapped in stretch wrap film, followed by Bubble film and over wrapped in corrugated sheets edges and sides Protected by bubble film. The rolls are left to stand on plywood fitments and core plugs are strapped for protection in transit.
