TRASTORNO DE DÉFICIT DE ATENCIÓN CON HIPERACTIVIDADE (TDAH)
PAUTAS A SEGUIR NO CENTRO ESCOLAR
• Características máis salientables:
1. Móvese moito, fala, levántase continuamente, ten que estar sempre
interactuando cos demáis compañeiros, tocándoos, empuxándoos; non
escoita e é impulsivo porque ten un déficit de reflexividade.
2. Cambios atencionales frecuentes; dificultades para rematar as tarefas
escolares porque non poden manter a atención durante un tempo razoable.
3. Presentan atraso nas aprendizaxes curriculares e sociais.
• Descoñécese a orixe do trastorno, pero sí se sabe que é un neno
biolóxicamente diferente dos demáis.
• A dificultade de autocontrol que presenta conleva un deterioro na vida
académica, familiar e social.
• As manifestacións do trastorno cambian coa idade.
• Na axeitada evolución do trastorno inflúen de xeito determinante dous factores:
a) Diagnóstico temperá e b) Atención proporcionada pola familia e o centro
escolar (unha educación ríxida, punitiva e pouco tolerante é contraproducente).
• O tratamento do trastorno ten que abordarse desde una perspectiva
multidisciplinar: psicolóxica, farmacolóxica e psicopedagóxica. O diagnóstico
preciso ten que ser efectuado por especialistas de Saúde Mental. Para elo o
alumno será derivado desde o centro escolar a través do pediatra.
• O centro educativo só pode identificar o posible trastorno a partir das
informacións aportadas polo profesorado e a familia.
• O profesorado debe consideralo como un alumno con necesidades
educativas especiais e ter en conta os seguintes factores:
o Precisa que se adecúen as esixencias curriculares ó seu déficit de
atención.
o Hai que sentalo cerca da pizarra e do profesor, ubicándoo na aula de
xeito que se favoreza a súa atención. Non pode estar ó lado de rapaces
que o distraigan, senón con nenos socialmente máis adaptados (“os
bós”)
o Hai que poñerlle as mesmas tarefas que ós demáis, pero mandarlle
facelas en períodos diferentes. Convén fragmentarllas para que poda
facelas en periodos de tempo máis pequenos.
o Darlle recursos para que poda moverse na aula: nomealo axudante da
clase, supervisor do grupo, etc.; encargarlle que recolla materiais, que
vaia buscar cousas, etc.
• É imprescindible que o centro escolar lle proporcione axudas específicas.
Precisa:
o Un pouco máis de comprensión
o Un pouco máis de tolerancia
o Apoio extra (adoita ter atraso en moitas áreas, a máis importante é a
competencia social

o Precisa recibir entrenamento en competencia social para evitar a
enemistade do profesorado e compañeiros
o O traballo por excelencia ha de prestar atención ó adestramento en
destrezas atencionales para paliar o seu déficit de atención
o Debe recibir adestramento dun especialista para regular e soster a
atención
• Se recibe a adecuada atención e non chega a acumular un atraso académico
moi importante, non hai motivo para que fracase escolarmente.
• Pautas xerais para a intervención no centro escolar:
1. Referidas á metodoloxía a empregar nas clases
o como dar instruccións:
• establecer contacto ocular ou proximidade física co
alumno, asegurando así a súa atención; evitar no
lugar de traballo a presencia de estímulos
distractores
• darlle as instruccións dunha nunha; as instruccións
han de ser concretas, curtas e en linguaxe positiva;
cando se cumpran, hai que eloxialas inmediatamente
o como explicar contidos: empregar explicacións motivadoras –
achegando o tema á vida cotiá do alumno- e dinámicas, de xeito
que favorezan a participación do alumno. É importante que as
tarefas estén estructuradas e organizadas e que o mestre asegure a
comprensión polo alumno
o asignación de deberes e tarefas: É importante que as tarefas teñan
un formato simple e claro e que se asignen nunha cantidade xusta.
No caso de actividades longas, conven fragmentalas. Imprescindible
a supervisión e reforzo constante. Pode ser útil o emprego de
rexistros ou contratos co fin de facilitarlle a planificación e
realización dos deberes
2. Eixos para fomentar un comportamento adecuado:
2.1 Supervisión constante (miralo con frecuencia; pasar polo lado para
comprobar que comezou a tarefa, etc.). A supervisión ten que servir
para anticipar e previr situacións que poden representar un problema e
para xerar no alumno maior seguridade e autocontrol.
2.2 Titorías individualizadas de 10 minutos: Sirven para indicar ó
alumno que se espera del, que sinais podense pactar para mellorar o
seu comportamento e redemento e para marcar os límites e normas
básicas de comportamento dentro da aula.
2.3 Uso de ferramentas básicas para o control do comportamento:
Reforzo positivo, extinción, tempo fóra e establecemento de límites.
2.3.1 Reforzo positivo: consiste en eloxiar/reforzar aqueles
comportamentos que queremos que se dean con mais frecuencia; é a
mellor estratexia no control da conducta:
• Eloxiar conductas moi concretas, dicindo cal e a conducta
(autorrexistro de conductas adecuadas)
• Eloxiar sempre de forma sincera e verdadeira
• Empregar o reforzo social (felicitación, eloxio, afecto), privilexios
sinxelos (pequenos encargos de aula, un rato máis de patio,etc.) ou
pequenos premios (adhesivos, cromos, etc.)-

2.3.2 Extinción: (estratexia a empregar en xeral para conductas
indadaptadas) Deixar de atender un comportamento para reducir
ou evitar que se repita (non prestar atención á conducta
problemática = non mirar, non escoitar, non falar, non razoar,
non xesticular, actuar coma se non pasara nada) [excepto cando
a conducta supoña perigo para el ou para os que os rodean]
2.3.3 “Tempo fora”: Illar ó alumno nun lugar carente de
estímulos durante un período, despois de que se dea unha
conducta que queremos reducir (insultar, pegar, etc…). Hai que
escoller o lugar idóneo en cada caso (asento, curruncho cerca
da porta, aula dun curso superior, etc.) e pactar co alumno os
lugares e os tempos.
2.3.4 Normas e límites: Na aula, proporcionar un ambiente
estructurado, con normas e límites claros para o control da
disciplina. Foméntase así o autocontrol e xérase seguridade.
• A MODO DE SÍNTESE: É preciso:
• Eloxiar a coducta adecuada e felicitalo cando faga algo ben.
• Empregar linguaxe positiva
• Ignorar conductas menores
• Evitar os castigos, xa que non ensinan a conducta correcta. Empregalos
só en casos graves
• Anticipar situacións problemáticas
• Adicarlle tempo
• Supervisalo a miúdo
• Achegarnos a él con ganas de axudalo, velo coma un alumno que ten
un problema, e non como un neno problemático.
