- Group of volunteers that serve as a national and international organizational bridge for the neglected people groups of Guatemala
- Over 120 students Decendents of 410 families dropped off by helicopter after the 36 year civil war
- What: We aim to create, facilitate, and develop sustainable engineering solutions to provide access to the basic human needs of water, sanitation, hygiene, education and healthcare. Why: The goal of these projects is to develop, assist, and support rural areas of Guatemala. These projects aim to use engineering principles to promote education, health, and economic growth. Who: These projects aim to serve the rural and neglected communities of Guatemala. These communities are the heart of our projects, which seek to empower and lift up these people groups. Where: We are working in the Quiché department of Guatemala with projects in the Municipality of Canillá and the Municipality of Uspantan. Currently we are requesting projects in all departments of Guatemala. How: We are facilitating relationships and connections and bridging intellectual and financial funding between national organizations, community leaders, local governments, and international NGO’s.
- What: provide new potable water system Why: currently does not have a year round source of clean water that is easily accessible, walking 1.5 hours several times a day carrying water Who: 330 indigenous Mayan men, women, children relocated after the civil war, speak Quiche and some speak Spanish Where: in quiche department in the mountains in the middle of Guatemala How: developing a distribution and disinfection system with EWB-RTP, assisting in community visits and check-ins with the community easily facilitated by being in country
