          energy
Kinetic energy is
energy that is moving.



Potential energy is
stored energy or
energy that does not
move.
How does Thermal energy
        move?

Thermal energy is the
kinetic energy of the
movement of atoms
and molecules.

                        This is the source
                         of electricity in
Difference between
  temperature and heat
Temperature is the
measurement of
hotness or coldness in
an object or
substance.




Heat is the quality of a
high temperature in
different materials.
Conduction


Conduction is the
process of electricity
transmitted directly
through a substance.
Convection

Convection is the
heat that is transferred
through a liquid or gas
which is caused by
molecules moving.
Radiation

 Radiation is energy
transferred in the form
of high speed particles
and electromagnetic
waves.
I learned that temperature is
the average kinetic energy in

traveled through direct
contact.

I learned that thermal energy
is the kinetic energy of the
movement of molecules and
atoms.

I wonder if heat can affect
potential energy.

I think energy is the power of
electricity.
