A JV between Tata Global Beverages and PepsiCo, NourishCo focuses on delivering health and
enhanced wellness through innovative ready to drink beverages. This JV is in line with Tata
Global Beverages’ ambition to grow through strategic alliances, category expansion and
innovation. The NourishCo portfolio now has Tata Water Plus, Tata Gluco+ and Himalayan
natural mineral water. Drawing on the strengths of both companies, NourishCo has a pipeline of
innovations to fuel growth and create newer hydration solutions.
2. Tata Starbucks Ltd.
4. Tata Starbucks Ltd leverages the combined strengths of two leading beverage companies,
Starbucks Coffee Company and Tata Global Beverages, to improve the quality and profile of
Indian coffee. The unique Starbucks Experience is brought to Indian consumers along with the
trust and reliability of the Tata name. The stores, branded as Starbucks Coffee ‘A Tata Alliance’,
are present in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad with many more
Starbucks stores planned throughout the country. In a separate sourcing and roasting agreement,
Tata Coffee sources and roasts coffee to supply to Tata Starbucks Limited and to export to
Starbucks Coffee Company.
3. Tetley Harris
In Order to broaden its product line, Tetley’s Foodservice division in the US entered into a joint
venture with Harris Freeman in 2002. With over 200 years combined expertise in tea procuring
and blending, this partnership is now the largest North American packer of quality tea products
for Private Brands ranging from Black to Herbal, Specialty and Green. The joint venture also has
state of the art production facilities in Moorestown and Marietta capable of packing every style
of tea bag. Marietta and Moorestown also blend and package for Tetley & Good Earth
respectively.
Subsidiaries
Tata Coffee Ltd.
Tata Coffee is Asia’s largest coffee plantation company and the 3rd largest exporter of
instant coffee in the country. The Company produces more than 10,000 MT of shade grown
Arabica and Robusta coffees at its 19 estates in South India and its two Instant Coffee
manufacturing facilities have a combined installed capacity of 6400 metric tonnes. It exports
green coffee to countries in Europe, Asia, Middle East and North America. Tata Coffee’s farms
are triple certified: Utz, Rainforest Alliance and SA8000 reinforcing its commitment to the
people and environment.
5. Tata Tea Extractions Inc.
Tata Tea Extractions, Inc. (TTEI), in the US is a wholly owned subsidiary supplying cold water
soluble Instant Tea powders and Instant Green Tea. TTEI facility also enables the producing of
value added products as per specific customer needs for the Iced Tea Beverage Industry in North
America. The unit is certified under GFSI global food safety standards and all its products are
Kosher and Halal Certified.
Zhejiang Tata Tea Extraction Company Ltd.
Zheijang Tea Group Company is China's leading tea and tea products manufacturer, and the
country’s largest green tea exporter. Zhejiang Tata Tea Extraction Co. Ltd (ZTTECL) factory is
a state of the art manufacturing facility producing world class Green Instant Teas, Tea
Polyphenols, Tea Concentrates and other value added tea products. The Instant Teas are a B2B
product used in various tea based beverages across the world.

Amalgamated Plantations Company Private Limited (APPL) is a tea plantation company located
in Assam, India, in which TGB has a stake. It is also India’s second largest tea producer with
operations spread across 24 tea grden.
2. Kanan Devan Hills Plantations Co. Pvt. Ltd.
.The Kanan Devan Hills Plantations Company (KDHP) is the largest tea plantation company in
South India. This Munnar-based plantation has achieved Rainforest Alliance Certification for all
of its 7 estates and 16 factories, making it one of the largest tea plantation companies in the
world to receive the prized recognition in a single shot. The company was also ranked No 1 in
the category for Best Company for employee involvement and participation in 2015. KDHP is
the first ever employee owned plantation company in India and nearly all its employees are
shareholders.

A member of the Sunshine Enterprise, Watawala Plantations PLC (WATA) is a diversified
plantation company in Sri Lanka, managed by the Group’s subsidiary, Estate Management
Services Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture with the Tata Global Beverages Ltd. and Pyramid Wilmar
Plantations Pvt Ltd.. Its marketing company, Watawala Tea Ceylon Limited owns three key
