This document proposes updates to a Target mobile app to make it more useful and user-friendly. It identifies problems with the current app like too many login accounts and complexity. The proposed updates include logging in with Facebook, making the app simpler, utilizing location services to tailor content, and adding periodic questions to collect customer preferences for marketing purposes. Features like managing grocery lists, checking items off while shopping, and paying with Target's REDcard directly in the app are suggested. Advertising the updated app is also discussed to promote Target brands and services.
