2. Target Audience – Country Acoustic
There are many types of acoustic genres. Country music is quite a popular one. In my magazine a range of different
genres will be used to fit all sort of interest. The audience for this genre will be male or females (late teens to early
twenties) who dress in typical country style – checked shirts, boots, and hats. A popular country artist nowadays
would be Taylor Swift.
3. Target Audience – Acoustic Rock
Acoustic Rock is probably the most common type of acoustic. The target audience for this would include people,
male or female (late teens, early twenties) who have long hair, long fringes and piercings. Acoustic players in the
rock genre are normally in bands, examples include ‘A Day To Remember’.
4. Target Audience – Acoustic Pop
Acoustic Pop another genre of acoustic. The target audience here would be males and females in their late teens,
early twenties with a distinctive style. Usually bowler hats, woolly hats and casual clothes. Acoustic pop artists are
most commonly found in the charts such as John Mayer and Ben Howard.

The target audience for my acoustic magazine does not have a specific gender. It is aimed at both males and
females who are interested in all types of acoustic music (such as pop, rock and country). It is generally aimed at
people between the ages of 16-25 (late teens, early twenties). My acoustic magazine has a variety of genres within
in it so a wide range of people who have completely different music interests could read this magazine.
