CAREER OBJECTIVE:
To prove myself as an indispensable part of my organization through dedication and perseverance,
nurturing my skills and talent, exploring myself in the process and thus walking up the corporate
ladder, proving at every step, a key player to reckon with.
SUMMARY
I bring with me more than 10 years of experience in telecom industry. Working as the Product
Manager for Nokia's Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Agent, Instance Network Element Support
and User Experience value streams, I own five different products and the complete user
experience domain critical for Nokia’s OSS business. During the tenure I have gained rich
experience in managing R&D teams, identifying business opportunities, formulating SOW (Scope
of Work), defining product road-maps, directing project execution, delivery and program
governance with internal and external stakeholders. I was involved in major project outsourcing
decisions including vendor selection, contract negotiation, KPI (Key Performance Indicator)
reporting, deliveries acceptance and risk mitigation. I am the driver for two of the top five
business objectives for the Business Unit set by the leadership team. I am handling the customer
engagement and delivery for Nokia’s top two customers in terms of revenue.
Prior to the Product Management role, I also have proven expertise in leading various cross
functional teams as a scrum master and area product owner.
In addition, I have prior experience with Sasken in designing, coding and testing of complex core
products, platforms and applications. I have also driven the acceptance tests, continuous
integration and customer support and engagement which fetched me “Trusted Person for the
Client (TPC)” award.

Vision: To make usability as the differentiating factor for Nokia’s element/network management
system, ‘NetAct’ ensuring best in class customer experience
Team Size: 70 (Global)
Major Responsibilities:
 Market study and competitors analysis to identify business opportunities
 Product portfolio, life cycle management and life extension decisions
 Chairing the UX (User Experience) community meeting and UIB (User Interaction Board)
 Defining the long term vision and road-map for NetAct usability and execution
 Preparing Customer demos and communication materials
 Product Backlog management, feature screening and prioritization
 Conducting CAF (Customer Alignment Forum) and bi-weekly program governance meeting
with key internal stakeholders

 Product portfolio, life cycle management and life extension decisions
 Bringing best in class innovation into the O&M agent products to win customer deals
 Decision on new interfaces and modelling to support Cloud and 5G (IoT) deployments
 Expanding the O&M Agent footprints across Nokia covering core, radio and transport
network
 Preparing Customer demos and communication materials
 Product Backlog management, feature screening and prioritization

 Did a root cause analysis of the attrition in the team, took necessary measures and helped
to build the team from scratch
 Coaching the team on Agile methodology, reducing waste, optimizing the process and
saving OPEX and CAPEX for Nokia
 Leading the teams during sprint planning and execution, reviews, customer demos and
retrospectives
 Arranging workshops with other R&D teams to share best practices and implement those
 Contribution towards development, testing and ensuring the products are delivered on time
with utmost quality
 Handled customer escalations and shielded teams from the pressure from the top
management
PROJECT – 4
Operation and Maintenance Agent (Dec 2008 – Dec 2010)
As R&D Engineer in Nokia
Major Responsibilities:
 Conceptualizing and driving the successful completion of project AMOEBA (Agent, Mediation
and OES bonded for action) with a small team of 5. That was the first time people saw the
end to end integration of Network element, mediation and the Nokia’s new EMS (Element
Management System)
 Leading the acceptance testing activities including regression, system and performance
testing of major releases
 Integration of memory profiling and static analyser tools to detect error during
development and reduce fault leakages
 Implementing algorithms and keywords to cover complex customer use case automation
 Was part of the “Virtual Task force” created to help resolve customer blocking issues
PROJECT – 5
Open EMS Suite (Oct 2006 – Dec 2008)
As Senior Software Engineer in SASKEN
Major Responsibilities:
 Development and testing of 2 Major Releases ( OES-1.1 , OES-1.2 )
 Setting up the lab environment and continuous integration pipe from scratch
 End to end automation of the manual regression test cases, generating a savings of 2 man
hours a day
 Acting as single point of contact from Sasken towards the client
