element of design while designing a dress. We learned about
element :‐ point, shape , form etc. how to create line with the
help of point and many more. About of this, we also learned

8. Point
A point depicts and limited loca on, it is also
used in Indian culture in the form of tradi on
auspicious symbol known as bindi or bindu. It
creates a contrast with the background which
impious a strong iden ty and approach.
Line
A line is series of connects point it is the
simplest of design element all line now
direc on length and width. three and four
line created a shape and form. Line crated
movement by eye.

9. Shape
Shape is outer edge of an area sounded by a
closed line. Silhoue e is the garment when
being wearer. Space is the area with in the
shape. Garment have a 3d from that the are
view from front view, side view, back view.
Volume
The amount of space that the garment have
occupies.
Mass
Mass is men on for the weight of the
garment.

In fashion design pa ern are created on the
texture. Or surface of the fabric by using
shape, line, and that design is repeated two
or more me that called pa ern.
In fashion design texture refers to the nature
of the surface of the fabric or trimming which
we used for the garment. It can be defined
through visualizing and feeling there are
many type of texture like:‐ smooth, rough,
so etc.
