SCENE 1
Hogwarts School Grounds
NEVILLE and ANTHONY sitting together on a bench on the Hogwarts Grounds
NEVILLE: Oh ANTHONY, I am so ready to get back into school work. Being gone was nice for a
few days, and seeing my parents was wonderful. They were great people you know. However, I
am ready to get back into classes.
ANTHONY: Sounds great, nothing much happened well you were gone. Other than the Yule ball date
has been set, we have a couple weeks. So, we have to take time out of studying to find dates.
NEVILLE: Oh, alright. I don’t even know who I could even go with. Hey where’s WAYNE?

17. Translation
FRED, GEORGE, DEAN and SEAMUS standing near by. GINNY and HERMIONE sitting on benches.
FRED: GINNY is off limits!
FRED and GEORGE: You two are bloody too old for her!
GEORGE: Try HERMIONE or someone else in your year.
DEAN: HERMIONE is, no offence, she’s too rough for me. What about you SEAMUS?
HERMIONE: I would be a stale if I dated either of you.
SEAMUS: We’ll we would be the best you could bloody well get!!
FRED and GEORGE: Ay, but she fancies Ron.

18. HERMIONE You two! That was supposed to be a secret! You two make me seem like a
whore!
ANTHONY: NEVILLE, listen!
NEVILLE: H-Have you ever noticed how beautiful GINNY is?
FRED: Either way, GINNY is not on either of yours lists.
HERMIONE: Ginny, come on, let’s go. You are too good for either of these two.
GINNY: I am going to go study, I need to find a tutor.
HERMIONE: Sorry, again that I am too busy.
GINNY leaves into the castle
Translation

19. FRED: GEORGE, we still need to find a Herbology tutor for GINNY.
GEORGE: Bloody hell, that’s right.
FRED AND GEORGE leave into the castle
HERMIONE: If either of you tell Ronald, I will send you both into oblivion!
(HERMIONE follows the twins into the castle.)
DEAN: Bloody hell! Seamus, we are still out of luck for dates to the Yule Ball and my patients is dying. I
need GINNY to go with me, maybe if I found her a tutor the twins will back up.
SEAMUS: Wait, we both want her. Let’s work together and then let GINNY choose who she goes with?
DEAN: What if we also found a date for Hermione as well? RON is sure as hell never going to ask her.
SEAMUS: Who could we get to take HERMIONE? Who would be foolish enough?
Both exit as they speak
Translation

20. Translation
ANTHONY: NEVILLE, snap out of it! You don’t fall in love within moments.
NEVILLE: It just happened to me. I burn! I pine! I perish! I confide in you. I tell you, ANTHONY. I’m on
fire, I’d die to have GINNY as my Yule ball date.
ANTHONY: Were you paying any attention? FRED and GEORGE are being protective ninnies! How
the hell would you convince them to ease enough so you could take her?
NEVILLE: I only noticed how beautiful she looked. Did you see how she flipped her fire like hair?
The way she bit her lip?
ANTHONY: Wake up, NEVILLE! If you really wanna take Ginny we have to find a way around FRED
and GEORGE. Until we can work around them and the other suitors you’re stuck. Wait, I have an
idea!
NEVILLE: What? What is it?
ANTHONY: I recall it being said that Ginny needs a tutor. You’re great in herbology! We can
pretend that you are a tutor!

21. Translation
NEVILLE: Do you think it would work?
ANTHONY: Take my tutoring paperwork! I have to tutor in the library after dinner, take my place!
WAYNE enters in a rush, glaring at both NEVILLE and ANTHONY
WAYNE: Where the hell were you two? You guys were supposed to meet me in the dining hall for
Wizard Chess!
NEVILLE: Oh sorry!
WAYNE: Why do you have ANTHONY’s paperwork?
NEVILLE: I will tell you later, I need to go study!
(NEVILLE, WAYNE, and ANTHONY head off into the castle.)

22. Translation
ALBUS DUMBLEDORE, SEVERUS SNAPE, AND MAD EYE MOODY sit in Professor
DUMBLEDORE'S Office, surrounding a pensive
SNAPE: ALBUS, why do you enjoy sitting here and watching the children be idiotic?
ALBUS: Oh SEVERUS, I enjoy watching them grow.
MOODY: Let’s continue then, this should be entertaining.
SNAPE: Albus, why do you never use this to stop Potter and his friend’s from causing chaos?
ALBUS: Because Severus, I enjoy watching the aftermath.
