Tallulah describes their class's tree planting event where they had fun digging, planting, and finding fungi. They planted 267 plant pots exactly and found various creepy crawlies like a 9cm long worm and large spider. While some students enjoyed digging, Tallulah and others liked planting best and helped Susan with planting and digging holes. They planted different types of trees like totora, manuka, white pine, and beech. Overall it was a fun day that everyone enjoyed.

• We all had a great time

• People took turns in
collecting plant pots
and we found out that
we planted 267 exactly!
• I was one of the people
who collected plant
pots it was kind of fun.

4. Creepy crawlies
• One of the people in my
class(room4)found a
giant worm 9 cm long, It
was creepy!
• There was a giant spider
about and Inch long! A
few people in room 4
were sacred of it (That
includes me).

5. Planting and digging
• Loads of people had fun
digging but others like
me liked planting more
so we helped susen
with the planting and
digging well the
planting at least.what
happened was susan
dug the holes and we
planted the plants
• So in the end we
planted loads of plants.

6. Types of trees
• There were all sorts of
trees that were fun to
plant for instance :
• Totora
• Manuka
• White pine
• Pittisporum
• Beech
• Everyone had loads of
fun. There was even a
massive stash of plants
on the hill which we
were working on.

7. What a great day
• I am very glad that I went along to tree
planting because I had a fun day.
• And I’m sure that everyone will agree with
me.
