Insights on Training.
Mu Sigma
 Mu Sigma University is the training and development team in Mu Sigma. Every one has to go through a 6 month training
program.
 Initially 1st month training is provided on R, SAS, Python, SQL, EXCEL and also courses on statistics.
 Most of the learning happens through classroom discussions (termed as muNexus).
 Courses are taught by actual Mu Sigma practitioners, and participate in hands-on, experiential projects under their
mentorship.
Fractal Analytics
 Hired candidates are trained by internal employees for the period of 6 months on R, SAS, SQL, Python.
 External Training vendors are not encouraged, reason being the confidentiality of the work that is being done.

 Majority of the quality profiles are contributed by Bangalore location followed by NCR locations.
 Candidates are expecting a minimum hike of 40 – 50% due to increase in demand for the data scientist candidates.
 Compensation paid by the competitive companies are higher compared to the salaries currently offered.
 Candidates showed higher level of interest on the companies working on R, SAS & Python, reason being the higher demand for
the skillset.
 Few of the competitive companies are providing higher designation for same level of experience range.
