2. Tajweed: ‫تجوید‬
Importance:
 Qur’an: (Surah Muzammil verse 4)
“And recite Quran (aloud) in a slow
(pleasant tone and) style.”
 Qur’an: (Surah Furqam verse 32)
“And recite Quran slowly (& thoughtfully)”

3. Importance
Hadith:
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported:
The Messenger of Allah said, “The one who is
proficient in the recitation of the Qur'an will be
with the honorable and obedient scribes (angels)
and he who recites the Qur'an and finds it difficult
to recite, doing his best to recite it in the best way
possible, will have a double reward.”

5. Muhammad bin Al-Jazaree
about tajweed:
 Muhammad bin Al-Jazaree the great Qur’an and Hadeeth
scholar of the 9th Century (Hijri) says in his famous poem,
detailing the rules of Tajweed:
 “And applying Tajweed is an issue of absolute necessity,
necessity, whoever doesn’t apply Tajweed to the Qur’an,
the Qur’an, then a sinner is he.”
 So he regarded it as an obligation and he regarded leaving
regarded leaving it as a sin.
