2) Local traditions from Patani in southern Thailand indicate that the initial converts to Islam were high-status individuals like rulers, who converted for political and economic reasons rather than spiritual ones. Whole populations did not immediately convert.
3) While Thai historiography claims the southern Muslim provinces were incorporated into the kingdom in the 13th century, the evidence suggests these areas had only loose tributary relationships with northern Thai kingdoms like Sukhodaya and were largely autonomous.
This family home in Canada originally had a "prairie style" architecture that the designers sought to transform into a modern interior while retaining elements of its original soul. Existing elements like a central stone chimney were conserved to preserve the heart of the family home. The redesign successfully created a contemporary interior that respected the building's original character.

Cells are the basic building blocks of life. They come in two main types - prokaryotic and eukaryotic. Prokaryotic cells are simpler and unicellular, while eukaryotic cells are more complex and found in multicellular organisms. Cells also include animal and plant cells, with animal cells typically smaller and lacking cell walls, and plant cells typically larger with cell walls to perform photosynthesis. Understanding cells and their differences is essential for comprehending how living things function.
