This position is located within our Business Unit Automotive – Product Line CAI. The PL CAI (Car Access and Immobilizers) focuses on Immobilizers, Keyless Entry/Go and RF link products.

Candidate Responsibilities: 
As System Validation Engineer within Automotive you will be responsible for • gathering and aligning system requirements from automotive key customers. • defining system level application tests in test plan during project phase. • simulation of user test cases. • development of required test sequences in e.g. LabVIEW. • debugging and coordinating of validation tests. • customer interface on system level validation for key less entry and immobilizer mixed-signal devices. • coordination with different domains e.g. software team within the project. • analysing and reporting test results. 
Candidate Profile: 
As a candidate for this role you • have a degree from a Technical University (Masters or Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering or Informatics.
• have 7+ years, experience in validation of radio frequency (RF) mixed- signal integrated circuits (ICs). • have experience in automotive applications with complex ICs using embedded software. • have PCB design experience, preferable with RF. • have knowledge of respective standards (ETSI, FCC, ISO7637, ESD, …). • have an advantage, if you have good knowledge of automotive EMC standards. • are familiar with programming languages LabVIEW, TestStand, C# and C++. • are familiar with statistics (CPK, sigma…). • work pro-actively in problem solving, debugging and you are focused on solutions. • are used to a structured and analytical way of working. • have good communication skills and you are proficient in English. • have to be a team player. • are customer oriented. NXP offers competitive compensation. Due to Austrian law we are obliged to state the minimum gross salary according to legal regulations and for this role this amounts to EUR 50.000 gross.
