This document discusses synthetic biology and its potential applications. It defines synthetic biology as the technology that programs organisms by manipulating their DNA sequences. The document outlines the history of synthetic biology dating back to the 1950s and its growth with advances in genomics and systems biology. Potential uses of synthetic biology mentioned include producing rare foods, organs for transplantation, customized humans with desired traits, and drugs. The document also references sources of further information on synthetic biology and its ethical implications.

Like all technologies, biotechnology offers the potential of enormous benefit but also potential risks. Biotechnology could help address many global problems, such as climate change, an aging society, food security, energy security and infectious diseases, to name just a few.human health and animal health and welfare and increasing livestock productivity. Biotechnology improves the food we eat - meat, milk and eggs. Biotechnology can improve an animal's impact on the environment. And biotechnology enhances ability to detect, treat and prevent diseases.
Growing Human Organs: The Future of TransplantsRaunaq Sahni
The presentation is a simple, yet informative brief on Growing Human Organs by Organ Culture. It also includes a case study of growing the human bladder. The bladder technique discussed here was pioneered by Dr. Anthony Atala.

Have you ever wondered how search works while visiting an e-commerce site, internal website, or searching through other types of online resources? Look no further than this informative session on the ways that taxonomies help end-users navigate the internet! Hear from taxonomists and other information professionals who have first-hand experience creating and working with taxonomies that aid in navigation, search, and discovery across a range of disciplines.
This presentation, created by Syed Faiz ul Hassan, explores the profound influence of media on public perception and behavior. It delves into the evolution of media from oral traditions to modern digital and social media platforms. Key topics include the role of media in information propagation, socialization, crisis awareness, globalization, and education. The presentation also examines media influence through agenda setting, propaganda, and manipulative techniques used by advertisers and marketers. Furthermore, it highlights the impact of surveillance enabled by media technologies on personal behavior and preferences. Through this comprehensive overview, the presentation aims to shed light on how media shapes collective consciousness and public opinion.

0x01 - Newton's Third Law: Static vs. Dynamic AbusersOWASP Beja
f you offer a service on the web, odds are that someone will abuse it. Be it an API, a SaaS, a PaaS, or even a static website, someone somewhere will try to figure out a way to use it to their own needs. In this talk we'll compare measures that are effective against static attackers and how to battle a dynamic attacker who adapts to your counter-measures.

3. • It is scientific meetings of
biological engineers as well
as the more popular Technology.
• Synthetic Biology helps to make
an artificially perfect baby.
• What is synthetic bio
I CHOSE SYNTHETIC BIO
4. Perfect baby
I will use the synthetic bio to create the human
DNA that is the sameThat parent want and
generate new perfect baby.
5. What is synthetic bio and how it work
• Synthetic bio is the technology that make up
the DNA in the ways thatYou want and form a new
baby living thing that is the same way that People
want.
• It work like programing the organism by use
four type of base in DNA. If their program true
the organism will come out perfectly.
6. History of synthetic bio
The ability to engineer microorganisms
has been a long-envisioned goal dating back
more than a half-century. With the genomics
Revolution and rise of systems biology in the 1990s
came the development of a rigorous engineering
discipline to create, control and programme cellular
behaviour. The resulting field, known as synthetic
biology, has dramatic growth throughout
the past decade and is poised to transform
biotechnology and medicine. This Timeline article
charts the technological and cultural lifetime of
synthetic biology, with an important on key
breakthroughs and future challenges.
7. How to use synthetic bio
• Synthetic bio can use to produce some type of rare food like snail or
Deep sea fish. They may use to produce good animal for example hen
that can produce a lot of egg.
• You may produce a perfect baby that is genius and strong by using
synthetic bio
• It also use in the big hospital to produce some organ for use to change
When the old one in body can’t work well. For example the ear on the rat
back. Sometime it can use to make bacteria produce human’s hormone.
8. What synthetic bio will be like
It will use to
• It will be very important in our world. It will use produce food in lack
Time and may use in country that need a lot of food.
• It also use in the big hospital to produce some organ for use to change
When the old one in body can’t work well. For example the ear on the rat
back. Sometime it can use to make bacteria produce human’s hormone.
• It can use to make the baby that grow in the pattern that parent want.
9. News that support
An Ecological Risk Research Agenda for Synthetic
Biology Environmental scientists and synthetic biologists
have for the first time developed a set of key research
areas to study the potential ecological impacts of
synthetic biology, a field that could push beyond
incremental changes to create organisms that transcend
common evolutionary pathways. The Synthetic Biology
Project at the Wilson Center and the Program on
Emerging Technologies at the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology convened the interdisciplinary group
of scientists and are releasing the report, Creating a
Research Agenda for the Ecological Implications of
Synthetic Biology. The work was funded by a grant from
the National Science Foundation (NSF). Read more
