 Introduction:
 "Online Banking" is the wave of the future. It allows
customers of a financial institution to conduct
financial transactions on a secure website operated by
the institution. It provides enormous benefits to
consumers in terms of ease and cost of transactions,
either through Internet, telephone or other electronic
delivery.Online Banking System is specifically
developed for online banking for Balance Enquiry,
Funds Transfer to another account in the same bank,
Loan details,etc..........

4.  OBJECTIVES:
 To enable user to perform various transactions anytime and
anywhere

 The administrators have accessibility in collecting the consistent
information that is very much necessary for the system to exist
and coordinate.
 The system at any point of time can give the customers
information related to their :
 Accounts and accounts status
 The balance enquiry
 The fund transfer standards
 The cheque book request

 The system can provide information related to the different
types of accounts that are existing within the bank.

 The system can provide the bank administration with
information on the number of customers who are existing in the
system

5.  5.Problem Statement:
 The data entry process requires tghe data on the
paper,which is then feed into the application by the
operator while doin so;the data entry operator has to
look into the paper again and again and thus the
chance of inaccuracies in gthe typed contents
increases.Also the process include higher
transportgatiion cost,,increased handlin cost,more
time delays,low accurgecy,more usage of resources like
registers,books,papers,ect.For customer transactions
can be done easily without visiting the bank.The
customer can pay the loan through online by providing
his account number.the customer can also easily
transfer the funds to the other user of the bank.And
also can easily check their balance.

 .There is a chance of hacking if we DoinG our account
in browsing centers and cybers.
 .We cannot access or login to our account where there
is no network.

9.  9.SCOPE:
 The project’s aIm is to automate the system, pre-
checking the inclusion of all
required material and automatically process the transa
ctions used in banking. It manages large number of
customer details with ease. It is used to manage all
details of customers who are registered with the bank
and send appropriate details about latest policy of the
bank to each of its customer. It is used to create
customer account and maintain its data efficiently and
effectively. It is also used to view all the details of the
customer. To create a statistical report to facilitate the
finance department work. Activities like updating,
modification, deletion of records should be easier.

10.  10.MODULE DESCRIPTION:

 Login module: This module allows valid customers to access the
functionalities provided by the bank.

 Admin module: Using this module Admin can log into the website. Admin
should enter correct username and password for entry into the system.

 My Accounts module: Stores the account details with respect to the bank.

 Fund Transfer module: This menu provide you to make fund transfers
between your different accounts as well as making a transfer to a third party.
You can even make an enquiry about your transfers and view the pending
transfers through this menu.

 Pay loans: This menu provides you with details about your loan accounts such
as Account Summary, Account Details, Query selection, etc.

 Personalize module: Personalize menu will help you in changing your
password (both login as well as transaction). You can even change the nick
name of your account from this menu.

 Logout Module: This module allows the user to logout from their account.

11.  11.FUTURE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
 The application developed is designed in such a way
that any further enhancements can be done with ease.
The system has capability for easy integration with
other systems. New modules can be added to the
existing system with less effort.

