This document provides instructions and activities for teaching syllables to students. It includes: - Instructions to go through a power point on syllables and complete 5 follow up activities, with 1 activity per day. - Examples of words with different numbers of syllables (1-4 syllables) to help teach the concept of a syllable. - The 5 suggested follow up activities involve: writing words, saying and demonstrating syllables, reading sentences and drawing pictures, playing an online syllable game, and writing sentences with pictures. The goal is to practice identifying and manipulating syllables in words.

Say a word and your child should demonstrate the syllables. They
could clap, jump, hop etc for each syllable. Role reversal. Explore
words with 3 syllables. Can they tell you a sentence with this word?
