12. DEPLOYING CCE
 Download the Skype for Business Cloud Connector Edition installer
 Get familiar with the Get/Set-Cc* cmdlets
 Start-CcDownload
 Create virtual switches in Hyper-V Manager
 Define deployment info in the CloudConnector.ini file
 Networking info, FQDNs, SIP domain, tenant name, voice gateway, ports and passwords
 Prepare base VHD file from ISO
 Run Install-CcInstance
 Provide the external certificate password, safe mode admin password, domain admin user name and password,
and VM admin password.

13. CONFIGURING CCE
 Configure your firewall with required ports
 Setup hybrid between CCE and Office 365
 Setup PSTN gateways
 Setup users in O365 Admin Portal (assign license and enable for
Cloud PBX)
 Assign dial plan, grant voice policy (if international isn’t allowed)
 Enable for voicemail
 Validate by placing a test call

 Datacenter Edition required

 Have to dial E.164 from VVX
 CCE limitations
 Consultative transfer isn’t supported
 Escalation to conference from a call between a PSTN and Skype for Business user is not
possible.
