SWAYAM is an online education initiative launched by the Ministry of Education in India to provide free access to online courses across higher education, school, and skill development sectors. It aims to achieve the principles of access, equality, and quality in education. SWAYAM seeks to bridge the digital divide by providing courses to students who lack access to digital learning resources. It offers e-learning services including video lectures, downloadable study materials, self-assessments through tests and quizzes, and an online discussion forum. The initiative has partnered with several educational institutions and content providers and provides over 3,000 courses to learners across India.
