Sustaining Social Networks

Editor's Notes

  • #2 This presentation is a case study drawn from our experience in innovation projects at Education.au over the past two years, in particular a social networking project and how this might be used to enhance professional learning for educators. Probably important to be clear up front that the service which emerged from these projects (called me.edu.au) is definitely NOT an enterprise system, it unashamedly aims to put the individual ‘lifelong learner’ rather than the institution at the centre of learning - to provide individual educators with a place to ‘be themselves online’.
