2. What is Biosecurity ?
• Biosecurity, is a set of preventive measures designed
to reduce the risk of transmission and spread of
disease causing microorganism into a poultry farm.
• It’s a all about preparation to protect the poultry
farm from harmful microbes
3. Why we concern about
Biosecurity?
To keep disease away from poultry farm
To decrease the challenge of pathogens
To control the disease spreading
To improve health of bird
To increase profitability of poultry farm
4. What is the objective of the
study?
i. To evaluate the biosecurity status of small and medium
size farm of different region in Bangladesh
ii. To study the effect of biosecurity on disease control in
different poultry farms
iii. To determine the weak and strong points of current
biosecurity protocols of poultry farming in Bangladesh
5. Methodology:-
1. We work through the questionnaire that was developed by
Department of Pathology, BAU
2. It was done by several cluster of group of veterinary
student, each student visited at least 5 farms
3. Accumulation, curing, analysis and interpretation of data
