This document describes SUPRACOR, a new presbyopia treatment that provides true bilateral multifocal excimer treatment. It treats both eyes equally with a unique ablation profile and sophisticated algorithm to minimize unwanted aberrations. SUPRACOR is designed for the full refractive range, from hyperopia to emmetropia, and may be suitable for patients with previous LASIK. Clinical trial results found 91% of patients achieved excellent near vision and 96% achieved excellent distance vision 6 months post-op.
