15 Russian universities will receive grants that will promote international rankings
of universities, according to the press release from the Ministry of Education.
"An open competition was announced on May, 8 2013 within the framework of the
Decree of the President of Russia 599 of ensuring entry of at least five Russian
universities in the first hundred of the world's leading universities according to the
world ranking of universities to 2020. The total budget of the project to improve the
competitiveness of leading Russian universities will reach 9 billion rubles, "-
according to a statement.
