The Summit Midstream/MCA Connect Dynamics 365 for Operations team experienced a successful go live this week! Themilie Bush, our fearless Project Manager commemorated the occasion with poem!

1. It’s like Christmas in
July at the Summit
Go Live
Commemorating a job
well done with a little
poetry

2. ’Twas the night before go-live, and all throughout Summit,
Not a coder was coding, no single commit;
The AX 2012 Release was planned by the TSA’s, SA’s and IT
with care,
In hopes that AX would soon be there.
The PM, SA and TSA were nestled all snug with their charts,
While dreams of August vacations danced in their hearts;
Tony in the Summit team room, and I in a drought,
Joking about Oildex, as Memrie turned it off;
When out from quiet Summit came Tony’s email;
PROD and MIG are ready, and on curtail;
In the still of the 4th , we all could hear our breath;
Waiting for the results of our 10-month depth;
Two stubborn SA’s, a stoic PM, a smug TSA and the functional
Guys;
All decided on the 5th to fly the friendly skies;
But with all the pain and months of storming;
We could finally envision Summit and AX forming;
Landing in Atlanta what awaits the Go Live mystery;
It was none other than the 10-month famed - David Kimsey;
Sitting in his chair all leaned back and jerky;
He said, “this launch is here!” and everyone was perky;

3. “Now, dash away GP! Now, go away manual PO introduction!
Hurray AX, Hurray STAGE, Hurray PRODUCTION!!!!
From bumps and bruises to clicks and clacks!
From the bottom of a pile, to no more stacks!
As Inett paced the floor and Michelle ran her reports,
When met with a bug, TrackIT deports;
Over to Houston IT, the TrackIT ticket didn’t make,
Was it Oildex, was it Jobrunner, what was the break;
Scott on it, Chris on it, Tony debugging,
Memrie on her keyboard, updating and shrugging;
No one knows, what’s issue with the Integration;
But everyone is heads down with further investigation;
As Tony, Scott, Chris, Memrie, Dag, Clint, and Collin work through
the issue,
Curtis, Ken, Jeff, Emile, Michelle, and Santo were finding other
successes to pursue;
The issue was fixed by Summit Houston in a 4-hour dash,
Only to signify that this TEAM is better than Corned Beef Hash!
Now all through the months we grumbled and cursed,
But through it all everyone just kept going straight to their work;
Through the tough times and challenges, we all felt blows like a
missile,
But today, I swear, I heard Nancy whistle;

4. It’s a joy to sit among the sounds of a successful Go-Live,
Especially when you work with and are among people with
exceptional drive!
