This presentation is based on one of my previous training held in Navi Mumbai, India from 18 January to 21 February, 2015. The training program was jointly organized by- Department of Atomic Energy, India(DAE) & Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL). The Title of the training was: “Foundation Course on Nuclear Energy (FCNE)”. I was create my this presentation from that FNCE training module. All of the training slide was develop by DAE & NPCIL.

2. Program Objectives
The FCNE has been developed as fundamental
course for young scientists/engineering
professionals ( having reasonable industrial
experience), particularly for new comer
countries that seek to develop nuclear power.
The proposed program will enable the transfer of
generic nuclear power plant knowledge to
participating country towards their capacity
building efforts.

During the visit we came to know that there was
a protest form the public which stopped the
construction for more than a year. At the
beginning there was no problem but due to
communication gap between NPCIL and local
community some anti-nuclear protesters took
the opportunity to spread rumors about NPP
among local people.
