This document provides instructions for a Women's Studies midterm exam. Students must choose two of four essay questions to answer in 2.5 pages each. The questions address intersectional and decolonial feminist interpretations of recent events, how Angela Davis' arguments about post-slavery racism relate to the Central Park Five case, how settler colonialism affects gender and sexuality in the documentary "Kumu Hina", and how settler colonialism impacts rates of sexual violence against indigenous women according to Sarah Deer. Students are instructed to cite specific readings and examples to support their positions.
