0311 Infantry Rifleman/Team Leader/Squad Leader 5/22/2011-11/14/2014
3/3 Lima Company Kaneohe Bay, HI and Bridgeport, CA
Accomplishments:
Led and motivated a team of Marines on a Mountain Training Exercise in Bridgeport,
California, conducting operations for 1 month on skis and snowshoes over an area of 800
sq. miles.
Led and motivated a squad of 12 Marines both in jungle environments and urban
environments. Conducting daytime and nighttime operations while sleep deprived and
under constant bombardment of gas attacks.
Received a Certificate of Commendation for my duties as the Camp Commandant of LZ
Boon Dockers which consisted of a 24/7 surveillance over the 600 foreign personnel and
62 billeting tents.
Conducted land navigation throughout the Sierra Nevada Mountains leading my team
through the snow to be the only team to find the points.
Had the honor of being part of the rifle squad for funerals, conducting over 30 funerals
and lay to rest Marines from WW2 to present.
2. Instructed and trained Marines and soldiers in the Indoor Simulated Marksmanship
Trainer building for 6 months. Marines and soldiers had to show proficiency in their
weapons from a M9 Beretta to a AT-4 Rocket Launcher.

Accomplishments:
Operated as a Point-man/IED finder on over 250 combat patrols through villages, open
fields, and desert ensuring the safety of my squad.
Conducted nighttime raids on compounds in search of weapons, high value targets, and
drugs. Successfully detaining individuals for possession of weapons and poppy seeds.
Became proficient in the language of Pashto in a 2 week course which I used successfully
on my pre-deployment training and deployment to Afghanistan.
Became a gray belt in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program. The program does not just
teach Martial Arts, but also discipline, leadership, and commitment.
0311 Infantry Rifleman/Opposing Force 4/13/2013-10/21/2013
3/3 Lima Company Darwin, Australia
Accomplishments:
Was part of the first unit of Marines to deploy to Darwin, Australia to establish a
rotational force to secure the U.S. Marine’s reach in the Pacific Theater.
Trained with the Australian Army, learned their culture and tactics throughout the
outback and Queensland.
Received a Letter of Appreciation from the Special Operations Command for my
Platoon’s efforts as the notional enemy for their forces which consisted of Army Rangers,
Navy Seals, Marine Recon, and MARSOC.
Received a green belt in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program and assisted with the
instructing of my fellow Marines to receive theirs as well.
