of four building, processing all paperwork for repair, budgeting for repairs and material upkeep, and the
leading of twenty five sailors in day to day tasking. Improved building conditions by 45%, in charge of all
keys for offices and filing cabinets protecting personnel information. Wrote the security plans, hurricane
instructions, for Fleet and Family Support Center Hampton Roads. Removed 150 pieces of controlled
computer equipment to Disposition, reallocation of the computers as well as furniture and office
equipment saved the Navy $12,000 dollars.
USS Iwo Jima, Leading Petty Officer (March 2012-January 2014) Responsible for the management and
supervision of all divisional personnel, and direct supervision of all administrative tasks. Was responsible
for writing all work packages and assisted in the command wide scheduling for a major overhaul in a
yearlong dry dock, attending production meetings daily. The scheduling of the removal of 300,000
square feet of the outer surface of the vessel, and recoating. Maintained and overhauled 84 divisional
spaces,the removal of two 40,000 pound anchors with a total of 2,160 feet of anchor chain weighing a
total of 64,000 pounds for corrosion removal and resurfacing. Also acting as the Departmental Command
Financial specialist ensured that all 120 junior sailors in the department were financial stable conducting 4
personal counseling’s a week, increasing the productivity of the department by 30% with personnel not
being concerned by their own financial problems. Mentored 30 sailors whom 100% all advanced to the
next paygrade, also as the departmental moral relief Petty Officer,arranged for divisional gatherings, and
ensured all my junior sailors were aware of safe activities out in town, preventing un-nessiary injuries.
Acting as the departmental Safety Petty Officer was required to inspect spaces and work sights daily for
any hazards to include hazardous material. For two years because of this there was a 0% injury on the job
rate sustained. Upon departure was recognized with a Navy and Marine Corps achievement medal (4th
award).
Naval Station Newport RI, Assistant Port Operations Officer (March 2009-Febuary 2012) - Responsible
for the processing of naval ship’s logistics request message traffic. Arranging for all port services, lead
member of the Facilities Response team for water born oil spill response, required to lead the laying of
400 feet of oil spill boom to protect environmental assets in the Narragancet Bay region. Attended high
level meetings with senior members of the Coast Guard and Navy. Also was a key member in the writing
of an inter-service support agreement with the Coast Guard, which involved recalculating pier weight
load restrictions for 4,000 feet of pier, all small craft assets,and the addition of additional home ported
vessels. Made all logistical arrangements to provide yearly services to the city of Westerly RI, for 2,000
feet of oil boom, two small craft,5 civilian employees, writing the CO OP agreement for the Navy and
the city of Westerly. Raising 120,000 dollars for the city chamber of commerce. Prior to departing the

all logistical requirements for the Department, saving the command $4,500 dollars with research and
aggressive negotiations for quotes. Was responsible for the arrangements of all work packages with
independent contractors as well as Naval facilities Command.
USS Nassau,Work Center Supervisor (March 2003-January 2007)- Responsible for the management and
scheduling of equipment maintenance from one week to four years in advance, and training of all
personnel to successfully accomplish day to day tasks. Qualified 30 personnel in all maintenance
