In the early 1970’s J.P. Colaco Ph.D. developed the steel stub girder system. This innovative structural system aimed at providing construction savings through the integration of mechanical, electrical and plumbing service ducts into the part of the building volume that is only occupied by the floor framing system. It was noted that overall depth of floor systems could be large, leading to significant increases in the overall height of buildings, the steel tonnage for the project and the associated cost of façade sys-tems with greater areas. The stub girder system made extensive use of fairly simple shop fabrication techniques and the composite action of the concrete slab and steel load carrying capacity members. This composite floor system had significantly more strength, stiffness and ductility, while the amount of structural steel was reduced. The stub girder system was widely used for a variety of steel-framed buildings in North America (Canada, U.S.A. and Mexico) ranging from 2-70 stories for about two decades. However, due to the relative complexity of the analysis required, labor intensive construction nature and transformations suffered in the international steel market, the use of the system has become non existent.

Abstract
According to the structural point of view Industrial Pallet rack structure can be considered typical steel framed structure. This work presents a general analysis of an industrial pallet rack structure, evaluating the influence of each of the components on the global stability. An analytical study for the sensitivity of pallet rack configuration in linear static equivalent lateral loads. The aim is to braced/unbraced frames were design and their analytical models are to be built in software. The finite element analysis is used to determine axial forces in beam and column, maximum storey displacement and buckling loads on braced/unbraced pallet rack structure. Bracing systems are mostly provided to enhance the stiffness factor of the structures with the seismic loads. Unbraced systems have mostly translational modes of failure and are very flexible due to excessive loads.

In structural concrete, the provisions for anchorage of straight bars and hooks normally present detailing problems due to conjunction of reinforcement bar. Mechanical anchorage device eliminates detailing problems when conjunction of reinforcement bar. This paper represents the various method of mechanical anchorage and past work carried out on mechanical anchorage which shows the effectiveness of mechanical anchorage method over the most commonly used method.
Using recycled concrete aggregates (RCA) for pavements is crucial to achieving sustainability. Implementing RCA for new pavement can minimize carbon footprint, conserve natural resources, reduce harmful emissions, and lower life cycle costs. Compared to natural aggregate (NA), RCA pavement has fewer comprehensive studies and sustainability assessments.

Heap sort is a comparison-based sorting technique based on Binary Heap data structure. It is similar to the selection sort where we first find the minimum element and place the minimum element at the beginning. Repeat the same process for the remaining elements.
Understanding Inductive Bias in Machine LearningSUTEJAS
This presentation explores the concept of inductive bias in machine learning. It explains how algorithms come with built-in assumptions and preferences that guide the learning process. You'll learn about the different types of inductive bias and how they can impact the performance and generalizability of machine learning models.
The presentation also covers the positive and negative aspects of inductive bias, along with strategies for mitigating potential drawbacks. We'll explore examples of how bias manifests in algorithms like neural networks and decision trees.
By understanding inductive bias, you can gain valuable insights into how machine learning models work and make informed decisions when building and deploying them.
Final project report on grocery store management system..pdfKamal Acharya
In today’s fast-changing business environment, it’s extremely important to be able to respond to client needs in the most effective and timely manner. If your customers wish to see your business online and have instant access to your products or services.
Online Grocery Store is an e-commerce website, which retails various grocery products. This project allows viewing various products available enables registered users to purchase desired products instantly using Paytm, UPI payment processor (Instant Pay) and also can place order by using Cash on Delivery (Pay Later) option. This project provides an easy access to Administrators and Managers to view orders placed using Pay Later and Instant Pay options.
In order to develop an e-commerce website, a number of Technologies must be studied and understood. These include multi-tiered architecture, server and client-side scripting techniques, implementation technologies, programming language (such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and MySQL relational databases. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic website where a consumer is provided with a shopping cart website and also to know about the technologies used to develop such a website.
This document will discuss each of the underlying technologies to create and implement an e- commerce website.
CW RADAR, FMCW RADAR, FMCW ALTIMETER, AND THEIR PARAMETERSveerababupersonal22
It consists of cw radar and fmcw radar ,range measurement,if amplifier and fmcw altimeterThe CW radar operates using continuous wave transmission, while the FMCW radar employs frequency-modulated continuous wave technology. Range measurement is a crucial aspect of radar systems, providing information about the distance to a target. The IF amplifier plays a key role in signal processing, amplifying intermediate frequency signals for further analysis. The FMCW altimeter utilizes frequency-modulated continuous wave technology to accurately measure altitude above a reference point.

Introduction
- Developed in the late 1960’s by J. P Colaco. Ph.D.
- Aimed at providing construction savings by integrating building systems into
part of the building volume typically occupied by the structure.
- The system relies in the compressive capabilities of the composite slab atop
and the tensile strength of the steel beam at the bottom. The structural
behavior of the system resembles the one of a Vierendeel truss.
- The vertical openings/windows of the girder allowed to run floor beams or
purlins continuously, thus taking advantage of the continuous beam
behavior.
- Relative complexity of structural analysis, labor intensive nature, difficulties
to inspect & retrofit have made the system become obsolete and seldomly
used.

Motivation
This built-up system was widely used for about two decades in North America
(Canada, USA and Mexico) to build steel-framed buildings ranging from 2 to 70
stories in height.
Constructions of this vintage and built with this structural solution are due for
renovations and adaptive reuse. Structural engineers of today are required to
work in projects where the stub girder system is present.
There is very limited practical information about the steel stub girder system and
neither design guidelines nor building codes or engineering books include
information about it.
The concept of a historical structure is relative to the community being served.
Methodologies and approaches used in the study of historical constructions are
also applicable to the study of more contemporary structures.

Conclusion
The methodology used in the development of the case study enabled
a streamlined communication with the project stakeholders, an
understanding of the condition of the structure, and management of
risks and expectations.
The structural analyses performed permitted us to first understand the
behavior of the stub girder system, to identify weaknesses, internal
forces, and stiffness, to predict the behavior under different loading
conditions and to devise the strengthening techniques needed.
Due to the relative complexity of the structural analysis required, labor
intensive construction nature and transformations suffered in the
global steel market, the use of the stub girder system has become
obsolete and seldomly used. Today, structural engineers will only
need to study this system when modifications or repairs are
necessary.
