The market closed flat today. Sensex close up 3.48 falls 0.01% & the Nifty close up 1.80
gains 0.02%, ended flat after hitting record highs for the third consecutive session on the
back of gains in defensive stocks such as healthcare and technology firms, while profit-
taking weighed on the broader market. IT stocks held strong with Wipro, TCS and
Infosys gaining 2-3 percent each. Cipla and Dr Reddy's Labs were other gainers in the
Sensex. Among losers were BHEl, ONGC, Tata Steel, Sesa Sterlite and Hero MotoCorp.
