The Sensex ended up 0.94% while the Nifty closed up 0.97% on Monday, reaching their highest levels in nearly a month. Foreign investors purchased shares, ending a 13-day selling streak and giving the market momentum in the last hour of trading. Reliance Industries rose 2.9% after the government approved hiking gas prices.
