Horticulture Course
Introduction to Horticulture Course, starting on the 3rd March at St
Michael's Family resource centre every Friday from 10-1pm,

Catholic Schools Week
Many events are continuing in the school over the
coming week to honour its Catholic Ethos. This Friday
we will celebrate Grandparents day beginning with
Mass in our Church.

Youth magazine now available at the Church Bookstand which explored
religious question for today.

2. Stay Safe on our Roads
Louise McKeever from the Road Safety Authority will present a
talk in St. Michael’s Family Life Centre, Church Hill, on Monday next
6th
February from 7-8.30, on how to stay safe as pedestrians, cyclists and
drivers. As well as information on current rules of the road and driving in
adverse conditions, there will be some hi vis goods and other materials
available on the night. All are welcome.
Holy Hour
The Holy Hour which takes place on Tuesday evening at 7pm is
especially for our family. A petition box is available at the
Baptism font with petition cards. All petitions will be remembered
in the Holy Hour on Tuesday night and at Masses in the Church.
Recent Baptism
Congratulation to Hadi Poui Hasan and Lorraine Lahroody,
Drumiskabole, Carraroe on the Baptism of Kian Anthony.

The Baptism course takes place on the third Thursday of
each month. If you are planning a Baptism in the Cluster of
parishes in the Sligo area, it is recommended that you book the course with
your parish.
Divine Mercy Conference
Divine Mercy Conference takes place on 24th -26th February 2017, at the
RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin. Information leaflet, speakers and booking form
available at the Church Bookstand.
Community Centre Entrance
The new hand rails at the Community Centre entrance to the church are to
help and support people who access the church from the Community Centre
car park.
North West Simon Community
If you, your friends, work colleagues, club, school or group wish to host a Tea
Day in aid of your local homeless charity- North West Simon Community

at the Church Bookstand. The "welcome" sign which was damaged recently
will be replaced in the coming weeks.

Bereaved
