30th January beginning at 1.45pm.
Mass Bookings
We are currently taking booking for Mass Intentions for 2018. Please note
that a limited number of weekend Masses are available, but Morning Masses
are usually free.

2. Pro-Life Mass
On Thursday 1st February 2018 (Feast Day of St. Brigid, Patron
Saint of Babies) there will be Mass celebrated for the protection of
the 8th Amendment in St. John's church, Carraroe, Sligo @
7.00pm. Please join us for this very special evening whilst invoking
one of our great Irish saints.
North West Hospice
International Singing sensation The Willoughby Brothers will take to the stage
at Sligo Park Hotel on Friday 2nd of February all in aid of North West
Hospice. Doors will open at 7pm with the show starting at 8pm.
All proceeds will go to North West Hospice.
Parish Retirement
Our Sacristans’ Evelyn and Martin Scanlon are retiring after many years of
faithful service to our Parish Community. A Mass of thanksgiving for service
in the Parish followed by refreshments in the Community Centre will take
place on 16th February beginning at 7pm. Invitation envelope included with
Newsletter and available at the back and side door for catering purposes.
Galilee Community Boyle
Mindfulness Meditation
The team in Galilee would like to invite you to experience mindfulness
meditation on Monday evening from 7:00 to 7:45PM. You will be guided in
each session to slowdown, let go and begin the process of stillness. All age
groups are welcome. First session for 2018 is on February 5th
.
Bringing the Scripture Alive
We gather around the fire on Thursday evenings to increase our knowledge of
the Bible and to discover together how it can influence life today.
We will be starting back on the 1st
of February.

Last week it experiences the rain and wind of our climate, but still it is

Bereaved
Your prayers are requested for Desiree Henry, Greenfort and Drumderrig
Nursing Home whose funeral took place on Saturday.
May she rest in peace.
A Thought: A bus full of ugly people had a head on collision with a truck. When
they died, God granted all of them one wish. The first person said, "I want to be
gorgeous." God snapped his fingers and it happened. The second person said the
same thing and God did the same thing. This went on and on throughout the group.
God noticed the last man in line was laughing hysterically. By the time God got to
the last ten people, the last man was laughing and rolling on the ground. When the
man's turn came, he laughed and said, "I wish they were all ugly again."
