2. Sachin Ramesh
Tendulkar:
He was dismissed without
scoring a run in the first one
day he played against Pakistan
in 1989. In the next tour of
New Zealand, out of two one
day matches, he was
dismissed without scoring a
run in one match and scored
36 in other match.
He scored his first one day
century only in 1994. He took
79 ODIs to score a century.

3. AR Rahman:
He lost his father at his
earlier age. His family was
rented out musical
instruments for survival.
He was playing keybord in
the troupe of Ilayaraja
and MS Vishwanathan.
He received a National
Film Award for his first
movie `Roja'.

4. Ilayaraja:
He was struggling to go
to school after his 8th
standard. He was
working to save money
to continue his studies.

5. Bethoven:
He lost his hearing before
he composed symphony.
Was continuously ill and
didn't get a good life
partner. He became
penniless in his age 43.
After this turmoil, he
bounced again with his
battle symphony called
Wellington's Victory.

6. Picasso:
When he was young at
Paris, he was in poverty
and desperation. Most
of his art works were
burnt to keep his little
room warm.

7. Abraham Lincoln:
Was born very poor and
lived in a single room log.
Till age 21, he was giving
money to his family by
working.
During early age, he was
called as lazy boy by his
family members.
His formal education was
only 18 months. Mostly
he was self educated.

8. Thomas Alva
Edison:
He had difficulty in
learning in early age.
He developed hearing
problem also at early
age.
Edison sold candies and
newspapers in rails and
sold vegetables to
supplement his income.
