Steganography (Encode text into image)
What is Steganography?
Steganography is the art of hiding messages in an image, audio, video, etc… This is a great way to send a secret message to a friend without drawing attention to it. Compare this method to simply sending someone an encrypted piece of text. No matter how strong the encryption method is, if someone is monitoring the communication, they'll find it highly suspicious. i.e. Steganography is the science of writing hidden messages in such a way that no one apart from the sender and recipient even realizes that there is a hidden message. Steganography is the art or practice of concealing a message, image, or file within another message, image, or file. The word steganography combines the Ancient Greek words steganos, meaning "covered, concealed, or protected", and graphein meaning "writing". The first recorded use of the term was in 1499 by Johannes Trithemius in his Steganographia, a treatise on cryptography and steganography, disguised as a book on magic. Generally, the hidden messages will appear to be or be part of something else: images, articles, shopping lists, or some other cover text.
