This webinar discusses promoting pollinators through collaboration between northern European countries. The document outlines state, trends, and measures for pollinators in Norway. Several bumblebee species are on Norway's Red List as endangered or vulnerable. A national pollinator strategy was developed to ensure diversity of wild bees and pollinating insects. The strategy calls for more monitoring of pollinator populations and habitats. Individual and coordinated efforts across sectors can benefit pollinators, such as establishing flowering zones on farmland and using local flower seeds. While some species remain threatened, the situation for Norway's bumblebees is less dire than initially anticipated.

14. National Pollinator Strategy
The strategy has been developed by the Norwegian Ministry of
Agriculture and Food, in collaboration with the Norwegian Ministry of
Climate and Environment, the Norwegian Ministry of Local
Government and Modernisation, the Norwegian Ministry of Transport
and Communications, the Norwegian Ministry of Defence, the
Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research and the Norwegian
Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. The Norwegian Agriculture Agency
and the Norwegian Environment Agency, with contributions from
defence and transport agencies, have prepared the technical report for
the strategy. Experts and organizations have contributed with their
knowledge and expertise.

15. The aim is to ensure the continued diversity of wild
bees and other pollinating insects
It is necessary to find out more, about trends in pollinator
populations and habitats, and about which actions are most
effective
Anyone who manages an area of land can make a difference
for pollinators, and the effect of individual efforts will be
reinforced by means of effective cross-sector coordination.
